UPA’s mission has been to make learners adept enough to endure all hardships and still reach the stars and beyond.

Stress seems to have become part of most peoples’ lives in the twenty-first century. This has been especially true during the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the American Psychological Association, 78% of adults say the pandemic is a significant source of stress in their life. About 2 in 3 adults (67%) say the pandemic has raised their stress levels.
Not only the Counselor and Healthcare worker demands on the rise,the constant fear of becoming infected or dying, as well as seeing other people die, are causing pandemics on mental health problems globally. The awareness of the impact of mental health is also increasing.
With a growing need and interest in Health and Wellness topics, our new graduate programs in Healthcare and Stress Management, Positive Psychology, places graduates in an integral position to support healthy lifestyles.
Our programs cover topics in the promotion of positive thinking, counseling skills, public health, stress, programming approaches in health and wellness, and policies for wellness managers. Students will conclude the program with a required practicum focused on their specific areas within the sector.
